We loved the spacious room with a balcony, great for bike riders. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for longer stays. The staff, especially Max and Renata, were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The onsite restaurant served excellent food with plenty of options. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful forests, perfect for cycling and hiking. a fantastic experience for bike riders like us.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel in the quiet neighborhood of Kraggenburg. The location was perfect, with a bus station nearby for easy access to explore the area. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided great service, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, with a fan to keep me cool during the warm summer days. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail, such as the rooms with a good view that allowed me to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of options to start the day right.

For the price you pay you would expect beter maintenance. Small details, like a broken curtain holder, or spots in the carpet (it was not dirty, it looked like bleach). But this doesn’t interfere with the general good impression.

Hotel van Saaze exceeded our expectations. Warm and welcoming staff, spacious and clean rooms with a balcony, beautiful surroundings with bike paths and walking trails, convenient location near Emmeloord and Lemmer, easy access to Amsterdam.

The staff was very friendly, and the location very pretty and quiet. Loved the chickens free-ranging about the property. :) The free wi-fi and parking were much appreciated, and the food in the restaurant was good (if overpriced, but you're a captive audience so that wasn't a surprise).

It's very old and run-down, and the carpet in my room made weird rustling noises when I walked on it. It's in the middle of nowhere - the hotel/restaurant seems to comprise the whole of Kraggenburg, there's nothing else there that I could see but a roundabout and a car mechanic's shop. I'm only ticking "not recommended" below because it's so isolated.

I was pleasantly surprised by the size and decor of the rooms at this hotel. They were spacious, stylish, and had a pleasant atmosphere. The attention to detail in the room was also commendable, with basic amenities like a kettle, fridge, and TV with plenty of channels.

That the room could get a little warm at night, which made sleeping slightly uncomfortable. Additionally, while the breakfast was overall good, it would have been nice to have some options like pancakes or eggs to order, instead of just the breakfast buffet.

This is a very nice hotel with good beds, excellent shower and good sound proofing. Breakfast is excellent as well. I recommend staying here.

The hotel had very nice comfortable and very large rooms, with balcony. The food in restaurant and also the service was excellent. The surrounding and location from main road was very nice and easy to find. I would recommend this hotel also to travellers with dogs.

The rooms at Hotel And Restaurant Van Saaze are super cozy and comfortable. I loved the luxury bathroom with its modern shower or bath. It made me feel like I was indulging in a spa-like experience. The tea/coffee maker, minibar, and electric kettle were also great perks for a sip-and-relax kind of person like me.

Personally, I found the minibar a bit pricey, but hey, different strokes for different folks.
